New Scouts and Helpers Wanted

14th Acton Scout Group

Based on the crossover between Rugby Road and Canham Mews ( opposite the Thames water pumping station ).

We have been there for over fifty years, we run three groups and are desperately looking for both young people and adult voulnteers.

The sections are;
Beaver Scouts ( 6-8 yrs ) Tuesdays from 6 till 7.

Cub Scouts ( 8-11 yrs ) Wednesdays from 1845 to 2000

Scouts ( 10 1/2 to 14 ) Tuesdays from 1915 to 2030.

We are looking for young people to join us, and we are open to anyone.

I am also desperately looking for any adult help, age is no barrier
except you must be over 18 and willing to be CRBed. ( for both your and
the young persons safety ). Full training will be given. It doesn't
even have to be every week but obviously the more the better.

If any Acton person out there has an interesting job or hobby, please
contact me and you can done down to the hut and show the young people.

I guaranteee there is nothing like seeing a young person enjoying
themselves,and the knowing you are a part of that is amazing.
