A 'Ruskinian Walk Through Shared Heritage' around the area's architecture is to take place this weekend as part of Open House London Weekend.

There are two walk starting at the RIBA Award-winning Chiswick Business Park (Richard Rogers Partnership 2000) on 566 Chiswick High Road at 12pm on Saturday 16 September and 2pm on Sunday 17 September.

Other focal features are the polyglot resident - governed and William Morris themed South Acton Estate - the birthplace of Patrick Caulfield (graphic designer, print maker, painter) - with its Children's Centre (Llowarch-Llowarch 2006) and resilient Willett’s Wall; mixed architectural styles - 19th, 20th, 21st Centuries; crossing the 'Stamford Brook' to view Woodlands Park Ice House; spotting the homes of William Willett - builder and originator of Daylight Saving Time - and Richard White, co-founder of the Law Society.

The walk lasts around two hours and is led by South Acton Residents' Action Group.
