Due to appear in court

A man has been charged with raping a woman on Friday night in East Acton.

Marius Ciobanu, 23, a Romanian national was arrested on 22 March on suspicion of raping the woman in Templemead Close W3 between 2315hrs on Friday 21 March and 0045hrs on Saturday 22 March.

He was subsequently charged with rape. He appears in custody on Monday 24 March.

Sapphire Officers are appealing for anyone who saw a man acting suspiciously at that time to call police on 020 8733 3773.
