An Acton takeaway has been told by Ealing Council food inspectors it needs to urgently improve.

Pizza Town at 70 Acton High Street was given the lowest rating of zero in Scores on The Doors following an inspection last month.

The food hygiene and safety procedures (including food handling practices and procedures, and temperature control), was assessed as poor which means there has been some major non-compliance with statutory obligations and more effort is required to prevent fall in standards.

The structure of the establishment (including cleanliness, layout, condition of structure, lighting, ventilation, facilities etc.) was described as bad which means a general failure to satisfy statutory obligations – the standards were generally low.

Inspectors said there was little confidence in management meaning they had a varying record of compliance. Poor appreciation of hazards and control measures and no food safety management system.

ActonW3.com has tried to contact the shop but nobody has been available to comment regarding the inspection.
