Man Stabbed in Face During Phone Theft

Attack happened in early hours on Beardsley Way

A 20-year-old man has been stabbed in the face and had his phone stolen in Acton.

On Sunday, 10 May around 1.30am, the victim was walking along Beardsley Way, when he was approached from behind by a number of unknown men and stabbed in the face. During the assault his phone fell to the floor. The suspects took the phone before running off in an unknown direction.

London Ambulance Service attended and the man was taken to a west London hospital where he received stitches for a small puncture wound to his cheek.

No arrests have been made.
