Margaret is one of the torch bearers for the Olympic relay in Ealing and was at Kew gardens to mark the 100 day countdown to the big event.

London 2012's chairman, Sebastian Coe, announced the Olympic slogan:

"I am delighted to announce the motto 'Inspire a generation'. With 100 days to go to the start of the Games, millions of people are getting ready to do the best work of their lives and welcome the world this summer. Expectations are high and we won't disappoint.''

Margaret says she spoke to Jonathan Edwards and even got a big hug from him.

''He is one of the Greats and he is really lovely.''

She is still not sure exactly which stretch of the torch relay she will be running in Ealing - but thinks it will be about 300 meters.

Margaret says she has been so busy with work for the Descendants and hadn't started training yet but the 100 days marking ceremony has made her realise it's not very far away now and she had better get her running shoes on!
