Old Actonians ladies 1st team remain unbeaten this season with a fiercely contested 1-1 draw away to Crawley Wasps.

The first half was dominated by OA's, with fantastic build up play just missing the crucial finish on 5 or 6 occasions. With the teams going in level at half time, it was the visitors who took the lead early in the second half after a brilliantly disguised through ball from Sophie Weller was finished by Tasha Cree.

Minutes later, Cree was through on goal again, with the defender helplessly wiping her out for what looked like a stone wall penalty, only to instead be shockingly booked for diving.

Crawley responded to going behind, upping their game and scoring a fantastic volley 12 minutes from time, leaving keeper Naomi Swift with no chance. Old Actonians will look for revenge this Sunday as they face Crawley again, this time on home turf.

The reserves also won on the road away at East London ladies where Yvonne Biggins bagged a brace, Cat Birch and Lizzie McCarthy one each in a 4-1 win which sees them remain 3rd in the table after 6 games.
