Excellent weekend for OA’s!

All three ladies sides came out victorious on Sunday to add to the U12’s first ever win on Saturday.

The first team welcomed Fulham Compton and, although somewhat laboriously, carved out a 2-0 win. Carla Williams scored in the first half and Sharon Odofin added another fine goal in the 2nd. Lafe’ Uche’ was player of the match.

Reserves avenged two previous defeats against Hackney Laces and won 3-2. Amy Gaunce scoring once and Lizzie McCarthy twice. Player of the match was Karina O’Neill.

The third team meanwhile returned from University of West London with an impressive 11-0 win! Goals from Gemma Hogg, Sandie Golby, Vanessa Vasquez, Robyn Allegra Parton as well as a hat-trick by Mel Johnson and 4 goals from player of the match Elena Frattura.

On Saturday the U12’s won their first match 4-2 against Hearts of Teddlothian.

This Sunday 15th December the first team take on Charlton Athletic in the Capital Women’s Cup Quarter Final, 1pm kick off at Old Actonians Sports Ground. Reserves are entertaining Tower Hamlets Reserves 2pm at Gunnersbury Sports & Social Club. U14’s play Lime House and U12 Hampton on Saturday 14th.
