Local teens helping community go greener

Over 30 teenagers from Acton joined together recently to serve their elderly neighbours.

Local youth groups - Living Room and Youth Link - along with pupils from Twyford school have been involved helping clear gardens in Harleyford Manor and Neville Close.

Overgrown borders are being tidied and dug over. A group of the teenager have created mosaics to display in the gardens.

The teenagers worked alongside the residents and were rewarded for all their hard work with a bbq put on by staff and residents of Neville Close.

The group want to plant more in the newly cleared flower beds and are in need of donations.
