The East Acton Golf Links Residents’ Association (EAGLRA) held another successful Fun Day on Sunday 1 July 2018 on The Green in East Acton.

Hundreds of residents enjoyed a party atmosphere in the glorious sunshine, with a bouncy castle, and stalls selling homemade cakes, plants and bric-a-brac. Children took part in street dance workshops courtesy of Society Dance Academy and games thanks to The Little Foxes Club. Those who had the muscle took on iGym London’s dumbbell challenge in order to win free day passes and goody bags.

The event welcomed East Acton’s councillors, Rupa Huq MP and the Deputy Mayor of Ealing Councillor Dr Abdullah Gulaid.

This year’s Fun Day also saw the return of the popular ‘East Acton’s Got Talent’ – there was singing, dancing and piano playing to entertain the crowd. There was also a raffle with a range of fantastic prizes including a three month membership to David Lloyd Acton Park.

EAGLRA Chair Neil Swatton said, "This was our fourth Fun Day and it was the best one yet. Residents met their neighbours, had a great time and we really felt the community spirit in our neighbourhood.”
