The fourth in a series of walks and talks in the Old Oak & Park Royal area takes place this Saturday (12 October).

Talking & Exploring was set up and is run by Joanna Dudzinska, a qualified tour guide, English teacher and local history enthusiast, to bring people together in order to explore various areas off the beaten tourist trail

Entitled From Allotments to Sandwiches (meeting point at Grand Junction Arms Acton Lane NW10 7AD) on this walk you will hear about an area, called Lower Place, next to the canal that once housed a large community with shops, a school, a community centre, mission churches and their allotments.
