Acton Community Forum (ACF) has been working with local performing arts organisations, Twyford High School and Acton based events company, Jack Morton Worldwide, to produce Spotlight ’10.

Spotlight ’10 is a dazzling Performing Arts Festival to be held on Friday 3rd December to celebrate our diverse cultures and bring the community together. With an expected audience of 500, the festival develops from strength to strength.

The festival will take place at Twyford High School and will showcase a mix of 18 local groups and performers all MC’d by Tuup. The acts include Nexos Latinos Americanos, the Angela Grant School of Dance, Uneeque Colors, Eclipse Professional Dance Crew, Stardust Steel Orchestra, and many more. It is a unique chance to discover and enjoy exciting, fresh talent that is right on the community’s doorstep.

ACF plays a vital role in supporting an extensive range of community projects and voluntary groups including the Acton Carnival, free holiday summer schemes throughout Acton, youth activities and intergenerational projects.

Jack Morton and everyone involved in the event, from artists and performers through to suppliers are offering their time, services and expertise for free in order to make this event possible.

Steve Flynn, ACF Manager commented:

‘Spotlight ’10 is a great opportunity to enjoy a unique evening of fantastic entertainment that will showcase the diversity and talent of our local communities and is definitely not to be missed. The support of Jack Morton has really raised the bar and it shows what can be done when the whole community comes together.’
