16-Year-Old Charged With Crown Street Murder

Police release the name of murder victim

Detectives investigating the murder of a teenage boy in Acton have named the victim.

Although formal identification has not taken police, officers are satisfied that the deceased is Usaama Ali, 17 from Acton.

A 16-year-old boy is appearing in custody at Bromley Magistrates' Court today, Monday 19 October accused of Usaama's murder in Crown Street, W3 on Friday, 16 October.

A 17-year-old boy arrested is currently bailed to return to a west London police station on a date in early November pending further enquiries.
