The 2013 carnival will feature wild and wonderful costumes and bands will lbe eaving Woodlands Park on Crown Street at 12 noon, travelling down the High Street.

The Metamorphosis theme is linked to Acton’s transformation and development and will be expressed through the carnival arts, dance and music. The Carnival parade is bigger this year with old and new groups taking part, numbering more than 500 already.

This year the carnival is complemented by the Mas Transformation exhibition at W3 gallery exploring culture and identity expressed through Masquerade.  The mixed media exhibition opening will take place on Wednesday 26th June from 6 pm.  The exhibition continues until 26th July.
