A local charity  desperately in need of more funding has secured a year's free membership to Acton's newest leisure club.

A.P.P.L.E. based in Acton Park has been going for 22 years, providing free activities for many children and young people and supporting others experiencing difficulties in their lives.

Activities include gardening, cooking, art, sports, dance, filmmaking.

A.P.P.L.E., like many organisations, say they are facing difficult financial times and are struggling to keep open so have launched a new Crowdfunder event in a bid to get enough funds to:

• re-landscape and refurbish the outdoor area to make it suitable for growing veg and fruit
• decorate and re-equip our kitchen to make it more practical to cook and eat together
• fund the growing, cooking and eating together sessions with children and young people encouraging healthy food, cooking skills and family eating.

A.P.P.L.E is celebrating the launch of a Crowdfunder Project, with an auction on A.P.P.L.E’s Facebook page, for a one year, full family membership to The David Lloyd Club in Acton.

100% of the money made from the auction will go towards the Crowdfunder Project. Kitchen and Garden Project
